We had some new additions to Barton Hill Academy last week, some very cute chicks!

They have been residing in Year 5 Willow class, who had been incubating the eggs for several weeks before they hatched.

The childrens' patience paid off and the chicks have been giving the whole school lots of enjoyment.

They are doing a brilliant job of caring for them as they grow stronger, ensuring that they have enough food, drink and bedding materials.
